Phase 1 Reopening


As we prepare to reopen our doors for dine-in service on Thursday, May 14, Fat Kat Slim’s wishes to assure our friends and neighbors that we are committed to keeping the health and safety of our guests and staff top priority. Below, please find new safety guidelines that have been implemented within our space. FKS will continue to provide updates based on local, state and federal recommendations as we proceed to Phase 2. We hope to see everyone soon. Rock on, Fat Kats!

STAFF MEMBERS
-FKS will have dedicated face coverings worn by all employees at all times.
-Practice recommended social distancing to the greatest extent possible.
-Increased hygiene practices such as frequent hand washing, avoid touching face, and practicing good respiratory etiquette when coughing or sneezing.
-All employees reporting for work will be screened daily for symptoms along with no-touch temperature screenings each day.
-All employees who do not feel well will be required to stay home.

GUESTS
-A limited number of guests will be permitted inside to accommodate for only 50% seating capacity.
-Specific tables will be blocked off to allow for 6 feet social distancing.
-No more than 6 guests per table will be permitted.
-Indoor and outdoor waiting areas will be marked so that social distancing standards are met.
-Guests will be screened for illness with questions prior to being allowed entry.
-Face coverings will be made available to guests who request them (free of charge).

DINE-IN ADAPTATIONS
-All employees will be required to wear masks.
-Modified hours and dining room seating capacity to allow for proper distancing.
-Paper menus that are disposed of between each use.
-All plates, cups, utensils and napkins will be disposable.
-All FOH contact surfaces (i.e. door handles, screens, phones) to be sanitized every two hours.
-Increased overall sanitation frequency in accordance with CDC guidelines.
-Live music will not yet be permitted.
-The bar area will remain closed.
